This is from Jill/borrowedwings.

Sisterhood-Jill/borrowedwings, Carey/carpetofstars and Megan/ainsley all consider ourselves the Sisterati. It's based on the Sisterhood books for young adults by Ann Brasheres. We are very close and even though we don't see each other very often (or even every year) we have a tight bond that can't be broken.

Reading is Sexy-I actually need to order this shirt again. I swear the two times I've ordered it, some mysterious stain has appeared on the shirt. I do not know why.

Anyway, Reading is truly, truly sexy and I can't imagine my life without reading. I haunt the local library at least once a week and I always have a book with me to read. So far this year, I've read 19 books, my favorite so far being Lauren Groff's Monsters of Templeton (which you all should read, pronto)

Philadelphia-Until I moved in with Jess in October of 2007, I lived in this area my entire life and I still consider it a home of sorts. It's not for everyone-we are brash and noisy and don't take crap-but I like the people and the culture and how dirty it is and just the general feel of it.

Dumbo Rats-We have two, Toby and Wilson. Jess actually bred rats for a really long time and she missed them. I wasn't so sure of them at first, but now I love them very, very dearly and I can't imagine my life without the fuzzums. They will snuggle up with you, lick you all over the place, and when happy make this bruxing noise with their teeth which is perhaps the cutest thing ever. If you have any more questions/interests, please ask me!!

Mr. Fork-When I went to North Carolina in 2004, I unknowingly carried a metal ford in my carry-on luggage. It made it through security without setting off anything. When I found it when I got to Megan's (then) apartment, I named it Mr. Fork and told its amazing story of having made it through airport security untouchted. I then promptly forgot about it and on the way BACK through aiport security, it made it through safely again. Sadly, Mr. Fork has been lost to the vageries of time. I still remember him fondly, though.
February is almost over and I can feel a lightness in my step. I still feel a bit of heaviness- especially in my back- but I feel lighter as a whole.

Spring always inspires a lightness in me, a belief that anything is possible and also the air is lighter. Daylight lasts longer and I am no longer coming out of work into complete darkness. I feel hopeful, optimistic, more myself.

I can feel the world opening.

For this meme (or not meme, I suppose) I would like to offer to upload any song from 1-819.

There are only a few rules:

1)Pick any song from 1-819
2)If you don't like it/already have/know it, I will upload another me.
3)Let me know how you like the song!
