I've been in my new job for a few weeks now and I really like it. I enjoy talking with customers and helping them resolve their rejects for transferring their number to Vonage. The only issues I have with it are too low pay and immense pressure to make a certain number of calls per hour, take inbound calls, take other people's inbound calls when they can't, and transferring calls to other people because apparently when you call the toll free number you can't enter our individual extensions. Ok, so that's a lot of issues, but I do enjoy the job itself. There are just things that could make it better.
In cute, cuddly, animal news we got two dumbo rats a few days ago. Dumbo rats are rats with big ears (aka like Dumbo and hence the name). Their names are Toby and Wilson and omg they are the cutest thing ever. They love lying on my shoulder or cuddling into me. I shall have bad cellphone pictures soon. Dexter and Lupin are totally like wtf and Dexter thinks it's great fun to bat at them. Hence, the cats and the ratties are kept far, far away from each other.
In travel news, Jess and I are traveling down to Asheville in October for Jill's wedding. We are planning a vacation around it so we plan to be there from Wednesday-Monday. I am so, so excited bo to see Jill get married and to see Asheville (which I have heard is a really, really cool town). OMG vacation.
